*10.06.1908
He was the oldest man in Okinawa: Kamado Tsuha was born in June 1908 and passed away peacefully at the proud age of 111. Before moving to a retirement home in 2017, he lived with his family. His eldest son, aged 86, took care of him lovingly. Apart from that, Kamado Tsuha did not allow any work to be taken away from him. It was important for him to remain independent. He even worked himself until he was a hundred years old and distinguished himself throughout his life by his agility and independence. He needed neither a wheelchair nor medication until the end. Professionally, the oldest man in Okinawa worked as a painter and gardener on a US military base, among other things.
